What’s on Your Bucket-list?

My list prior to having children was quite different than the one you are about to read.  I am sure there are many reasons for the shift, but I think the best explanation for the change is FEAR.  I capitalize the word fear because it a four letter word that everyone should be aware of and protect their dreams from.
As I look at the list, they all seem doable, but what if I knew I had limited time?  Rita Davenport used to say, “If money can fix it, then it’s not a problem!”  Well, lack of time is not something that you can change by throwing money at it.
I found someone very special online that has a bucket list and is fighting for more time to complete it.  Please read Alice’s story, start your own bucket list and know that we never really know how much time we have, but we all know how to have a really good time!  What are you going to do first?

  1. Kerry,
We could rollerblade across the GG bridge (#43) and back (car parked in lot on north side of bridge or have family waiting for us) on our way to the AIRPORT to go to Hawaii the first week of summer – where you will LEARN TO SURF (17), all the while listening to Rossetta Stone Spanish tapes (#23 and to prepare us for a trip to Todos Santos where we will RELEASE BABY TURTLES who have just hatched (#39) )
I’d say we can stop off at SF Asia for dinner but if we have the family with us…not so sure…..how do you feel about drag quees doing to catwalk on the bar while your wee ones have Tapas?…Could get a little “awkward”,no? Maybe save it for girls night out? !
    You inspire me!
