Homemade Lollipops

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup of Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • 1/3 Cup of light Corn Syrup
  • 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon Extract (or flavor of your choice)
  • 1 drop red food coloring
  • 12 Lollipop Sticks
  • Sprinkles

Directions

  1. Spray the lollipop molds with vegetable cooking spray.
  2. Bring the sugar, water and corn syrup to a boil.
  3. Reduce to a simmer until the mixture reaches 300 degrees Fahrenheit.  This should take about 20 minutes.
  4. Scatter your chosen sprinkles in the greased molds.
  5. When mixture reaches 300 degrees Fahrenheit, stir in cinnamon extract and red food coloring.
  6. Carefully place mixture in the molds and press the lollipop sticks into place.
  7. Let cool
