Do you ever want to make a cake but you don’t have time to wait for it to finish baking? The Slow Cooker comes to the rescue again.
SC Chocolate Lava Cake
Ingredients:
- 1 Box of your favorite Chocolate Cake Mix
- 1 Box of Instant Chocolate Pudding (3.9 oz box)
- 11/2 Cups of Chocolate Chips
- 4 Eggs
- 8 oz. of Sour Cream
- 3/4 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 cup of water
Directions:
- Spray the Slow Cooker with Pam.
- Mix the above ingredients except the chocolate chips in a blender.
- Fold the chocolate chip in with the other ingredients.
- Pour everything in the Slow Cooker and cook on Low for 31/2 – 4 hours.
Recommendation:
- Keep a close eye on the cooking time because the cake can go from perfect to over cooked quickly.
- Serve hot and with ice cream.

When you say to mix the ingredients in a blender, do I use the lowest speed? I don’t have a mixer like your helper!

Start on slow and go up from there. Continue until it is fully mixed. The big mixer is great but the little helper is awesome!
Another fabulous recipe! Just finished this and our family loved it! I used chocolate peanut butter chips for a little twist but, didn’t really taste much peanut butter. I will definitely make this one again! Good job CEO of the House!
